Why this happens
A rejected password is often just a typo, a stray space, or caps lock being on. A missing UID is usually a memory issue rather than an account problem — it's not something you're shown every time you log in, so it's easy to lose track of, especially if you log in through a saved session most of the time and rarely type it manually.
Before you start recovery
Two things make recovery faster:
- The contact details (phone or email) originally registered to the account.
- Access to that contact method right now, since recovery typically confirms through it.
If neither is available, recovery may not be able to proceed — see the section below on what to do next.
How to recover your password
Open the login screen and select Forgot Password / UID rather than repeatedly guessing. Follow the on-screen steps, which confirm your identity through your registered contact details before letting you set a new password.
How to recover your UID
The same Forgot Password / UID link covers a missing UID, not only a forgotten password. If you genuinely don't remember which UID was used to register, this is the step to use instead of creating a second account.
If recovery doesn't work
If the recovery flow doesn't recognize your details, or you no longer have access to the registered contact method, repeating the same attempt won't change the outcome. At that point, use the support option available through the platform or your account interface rather than creating a new account — a second account doesn't recover the original one or anything tied to it.
Keep your account safe going forward
- Keep your password private, and don't reuse one from another account.
- Never share a verification code (OTP) with anyone.
- Bookmark the correct Winbox web address to avoid lookalike sites.
- Keep your registered contact details up to date, so recovery stays possible if you need it again.
